How do payments from SoundOn work?
SoundOn provides the monthly statements for each calendar month, around the 25th of each month (with potential delays during holidays).
For non-bytedance platforms (eg Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL etc) there is a minimum two-month delay from stream occuring to pay out via SoundOn. This is whilst we wait for the DSP to send the entire period's sales report to us. During public holidays, please expect 2-5 days of additional processing time.
There is a minimum payment threshold of R$50 (Brazil), Rp. 140,000 (Indonesia), and $10 (United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand).
For Brazilian and Indonesian users, you can withdraw your monthly earnings to your bank account if it meets our minimum payout threshold. For US, UK, AU/NZ users, we support bank transfer. We hope to add more ways for you to withdraw earnings soon.
Artists are responsible for splitting royalties with collaborators since they own 100% rights to the tracks they have uploaded with SoundOn.
